TH&TF
Tonight was our first show.
It. Ruled.
Despite the technical difficulties throughout the night, and the this-band-can’t-play-but-now-they-can, it ran rather smoothly. All the bands who played were super solid and it was overwhelmingly joyful to see so many familiar faces in one plays. Some people I hadn’t seen in months, years even. I couldn’t have asked for a better first show with this band.
We had stage dives, and some hootin n hallerin, but the best part was that even though we don’t have any recordings up, people still recognized the songs from watching our practices and seeing Zach and sometimes myself play them throughout this past year or two. The last song we played, my favorite, was The Anatomy of Goodbye. I don’t think I’ll ever forget the sound of over 100 voices singing every word. Overwhelming.
This is the start of something big, I just know it.
